This list is an example of common procedures which are undertaken:
- Open reduction and internal fixation of hand, wrist and elbow fractures
- Flexor and extensor tendon repair, tendon transfer, tendon grafting and reconstruction
- Trigger finger release, trigger finger injection, tendon release, De Quervains release, tenosynovectomy, tenolysis
- Carpal tunnel release, carpal tunnel injection, revision carpal tunnel release
- Cubital tunnel release/ulnar nerve decompression and transposition
- Nerve release, repair and grafting, microsurgical repair of nerves and vessels
- Aspiration of excision/removal/biopsy of hand swellings, ganglion, mucous cyst, giant cell tumor etc.
- Dupuytrens contracture: fasciotomy and fasciectomy
- Wrist ligament repair and reconstruction: scapholunate ligament, lunotriquetral ligament etc.
- Percutaneous and open Scaphoid fracture fixation, fracture non-union reconstruction and bone grafting
- Corrective osteotomy and bone grafting with fixation for mal-union of fractures of the hand and distal radius etc.
- Scapho-trapezio-trapzoid joint (STT) arthrodesis or excision arthroplasty
- Proximal row carpectomy
- Total wrist replacement or fusion
- Wrist arthroscopy
- Small joint replacements in the hand and wrist
- Thumb carpometacarpal joint: trapezectomy, arthroplasty (replacement) and arthrodesis.
- Thumb metacarpophalangeal joint ligament repair, reconstruction, fusion/arthrodesis
- Tennis and Golfer’s elbow surgery (TOPAZ)
